If one climbs into bed 7 hours before one’s alarm clock is set to ring, and further, if one falls asleep relatively quickly after doing so, one will wake up feeling relatively refreshed and energetic, even before one ingests one’s daily dose of caffeine (n = 1).

I found that out one day, by accident, got a full night’s sleep (well, more than five hours). Weirdest thing, I fully experienced the world around me, all day, didn’t need a nap or anything. I found myself wondering if that is how most people go through their days . . . Bloody brilliant.
